Avoid the traffic, come by train. Due to limited parking available and the close proximity of Albion Park train station, the organisers encourage you to come by train.
The organisers have teamed up with Sydney Trains who will be providing additional carriages for both days of the event.
Albion Park train station is on the South Coast line and is situated on the Princes Highway opposite the airshow main entrance gate, less than 50m from the airport. Special arrangements for pedestrian movement to the event will be in place.
Timetable information is available on the Sydney Trains website or by phoning 131 500.
Sydney Trains offer a 30% discount on all Saturday fares and a $2.50 cap on all Sunday fares. For more information about fares visit the Opal Fares website.
Unfortunately due to unavoidable track work between Redfern and Sydenham on that weekend, the trip to Albion Park will involve changing trains, however Sydney trains have added additional services so the trip will be an easy one.
The following instructions should assist those not familiar with the Sydney rail network.
