There will be NO general admission parking available at the airport

Due to the large numbers of visitors attending Wings Over Illawarra and the absence of large parking areas at the airport, visitors travelling by car will need to park in the designated park and ride location.
On site parking available to buses, coaches and accredited disabled permits holders ONLY.

Park And Ride Locations

P1. Albion Oval (Park & Shuttle Bus) - Access via Princes Highway and Ash Avenue
This parking area will have a FREE shuttle bus service to and from the main airshow gates all day and will be manned by the NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers for the duration of the show to help ensure the safety of vehicles.
A parking fee of $5 per vehicle will be charged with all proceeds going to the NSW Rural Fire Service.
There will be plenty of shuttle buses from this location to ensure visitors do not have a long wait.

P2. Cnr Croome Road and Tongarra Road (Park & Shuttle Bus) - Access from Tongarra Road
This parking area will have a FREE shuttle bus service to and from the main airshow gates all day and will be manned by the NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers for the duration of the show to help ensure the safety of vehicles.
A parking fee of $5 per vehicle will be charged with all proceeds going to the NSW Rural Fire Service.
There will be plenty of shuttle buses from this location to ensure visitors do not have a long wait.

There will be access to Wings Over Illawarra via the Illawarra Light Rail Museum for those wishing to enjoy a vintage train ride to and from the air show. The cost of a return train ride will be $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child. The Illawarra Light Rail Museum and train rides will be available from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and the entrance is situated across the road from the P2 Parking area.

There will be on airport parking available for buses, coaches and holders of accredited state disabled permit pass holders ONLY. Access to this area will be via Airport Road from the Princes Highway.

Traffic management will be in place however some delays may be unavoidable.

For those not wishing to use the shuttle bus service, we highly recommend parking at your nearest train station on the Illawarra and South Coast Line and catching the train.
The Albion Park station entrance is less than 50 metres from the airshow entry gate and Sydney trains have added additional carriages for the duration of the event.
